From the mountain station to the valley station
You have two options here. Either you descend directly via trail no. 34 (1 ½ hours) or you follow trail no. 35A in the direction of Toffringtal. Before the first ascent, the Sogeweg (no. 35) branches off, which will take you to the valley station in around 2 hours.
The Dolomieu path
The Dolomieu Trail (6-Almen-Weg) is an educational trail that leads from the Telfer-Almen, above Sterzing, to the Furtalm in Hinterpflersch. Information boards provide an insight into the geology as well as the flora and fauna. The trail is named after the French geologist Deodat de Dolomieu (1750-1801), who discovered an unknown rock in this area. The light-coloured dolomite rock of the Tribulaun also takes its name from him.
Starting from the mountain station of the Ladurns cable car, you can follow the educational path in two directions:
Towards the end of the valley via the Toffringtal to the Allrissalm, extensive alpine meadows with their colourful biodiversity invite you to linger. Panoramic views of the Weißwandspitze and Tribulaun are included. A highlight along the way are the "Hirschlackn", special places of power. The educational trail ends at the Furtalm in Innerpflersch, from where you can descend to St. Anton on foot. Alternatively, you can descend directly from the Allrissalm into the valley.
The Dolomieu trail leads towards Sterzing, past the alpine village of Vallming and the "Kastellacke" biotope to the mountain station of the Rosskopf cable car. If you wish, you can hike from there to the Kuhalm and the Ochsenalm above Telfes.
Walking time: Ladurns - Allriss = 3 hours
